Bowie Knives

Image
The "Bowie" knife name dates back to 1820's-1840's and the Clip point style Bowie knife blade dates back to 1850's. The original Bowie  blade type is up for debate, but most enthusiasts & historians agree that it was large blade with a coffin handle. My two modern inexpensive Clip Point Bowie knives are L-R: the SZCO Black Tech Bowie & the Winchester (Gerber) Bowie.

'JXE-JXO' Carbon Steel Tomahawk

Image
I found this Chinese made Tomahawk/Throwing Axe on sale for $20 from Amazon last year. A holster wasn't included, which cut the retail price considerably. It's made of 1055 Carbon Steel with a Hickory handle. The quality and workmanship is quite impressive for such a low price. This item looks to be a close copy of one of CRKT's current Tomahawk's, but about $80 Canadian lower price. I expect this Tomahawk will be my Camp Hatchet for the rest of my life...

Airgun Bolts (cal.177/4.5mm)

Image
I shoot these Airgun Bolts in my Crosman SNR-357 CO2 Revolver. It has a 2½" smoothbore barrel. They are made of stainless steel & plastic, so it's best not to shoot them thru a rifled barrel. It's a fun way to play a game of darts!
